Assessment Terms and Conditions

When you book an assessment, you are confirming your acceptance of our terms. Appointments are secured once any required booking fee has been received and written confirmation of the assessment date and time has been issued. Where necessary, a different suitably qualified assessor may be allocated.

A booking fee of £200 is required to reserve your appointment and is non-refundable.

The full assessment fee will be agreed on application depending on the level of service required. Assessment reports are released only once payment has been received in full.

To ensure the assessment is accurate and appropriate, we require completion of all pre-assessment forms and supporting information, including confirmation of a recent eye test. Appointments may need to be deferred if required information is not provided in advance.

Requests to cancel or change an appointment must be submitted by email with at least 48 hours notice. If we are unable to proceed due to circumstances beyond our control, we will aim to rearrange the appointment or refund fees paid.

Assessments are conducted in a professional and supportive manner. If testing conditions are unsuitable or the individual being assessed becomes unsettled, the assessment may be paused or stopped to protect wellbeing and the validity of results.

The assessment process is designed to identify learning strengths and areas of difficulty and to offer practical recommendations. A specific diagnosis cannot be assured in every case. Written reports are provided within the timeframe agreed at the point of booking.

Reports are prepared for the individual assessed and may be shared with schools or other professionals at your discretion. Recognition of reports by external organisations is subject to their own requirements.

All personal information is managed securely and confidentially in accordance with current data protection legislation.
